Valentine’s Day in Cyprus
Valentine’s Day in Cyprus is great!
The sun is shining and many people are already taking a dip in the sea.
This is a very romantic island with lots of romantic things to do.
You can follow in the footsteps of Aphrodite and discover the walks she once enjoyed with her lover Adonis.
Visit the nearby village of Kouklia where the Sanctuary of Aphrodite once stood.
This area of Paphos is full of the myths and legends of the beautiful goddess. It’s also a popular place for tying the knot.
Limassol Carnival >>

Carnival time is celebrated throughout the island and the city of Limassol hoasts one of the most exciting on the island.
Much preparation goes into this eleven day event.
It is always held 50 days before Easter and the first week is meat week (Kreatini) .
This is when Orthodox Christians stop eating meat.
The second week is cheese week (Tyrini) and carnival festivities begin on Thursday of the Meat Week.
