Limassol Wine Festival
28 August – 7 September 2015
Dionysus the god of wine would surely approve of this amazing annual event which has grown into an international festival attracting thousands of people every year.
Lots of traditional music, bouzouki, dancing and stalls and taverna-style eateries with traditional Cypriot food and FREE wine throughout the festival (there is a small entrance fee which covers the wine you drink).

Anna Vissi and Michalis Hatzigiannis are two of the most popular Cypriot singers who are returning to Cyprus in September for concerts in Nicosia, Larnaca and Limassol.
1/9 & 2/9 – Amphitheater of School for Blind, Nicosia.
4/9 – Pattichion Municipal Amphitheatre, Larnaca
7/9 – Municipal Gardens Theater, Limassol
Part of the proceeds will be allocated to the Cyprus Red Cross.

17th Pafos Aphrodite Festival from 4 – 6 September 2015

A highlight of the year is the Pafos Aphrodite Festival of international opera.
Held every year in September under the stars at The Medieval Pafos Castle in Pafos Harbor. For each performance there are 2,500 seats.
Cyprus International Film Festival / CYIFF // Διεθνές Κινηματογραφικό Φεστιβάλ Κύπρου
23 – 27 September 2015
The 10th Cyprus International Film Festival (CYIFF) is held in two venues in Pafos.
The Neapolis University and Technopolis 20 Cultural Center.
Openair festival screenings will be held in old Nicosia at CVAR/Severis Foundation with free entrance.
First feature films compete for the Golden Aphrodite award and first short films compete in the CYIFF Got Talent category.

Kato Pafos has a palm tree lined promenade with an abundance of open air cafes, restaurants, a harbour and castle. Nearby towns and villages such as Pissouri and Kouklia are good to visit.
