October – November – December
Throughout the year there are many top concerts with international singers and dancers plus many festivals and events for all the family to enjoy.
June – July – August – September
Summer is great for swimming and the beach, there are lots of open air concerts and a variety of festivals to enjoy so you won’t get bored.
May
During the month of May the island is ablaze with flowers. Anthestiria (Flower Festivals) are held all over the island. Parades and flower filled floats, focus on Ancient Greece.
Anthestiria comes from the Greek word anthos = flower and the festival celebrate the re-birth of man and nature.
April
This year (2018) Greek Easter falls a week later than in the UK on the 8 April.
It’s a lovely time to visit Cyprus, flowers are blooming and the weather is not too hot but you can still go swimming.
March
As usual there are many top concerts during March and lots of places to visit.
Hire a car and see the real Cyprus, not just the popular resorts. The weather is good but not too hot, so the perfect time to discover the villages of Cyprus and Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus.

February is Carnival time in Cyprus but Limasssol is well known for having the best festival on the island.
January
New Year in Cyprus is celebrated with St Basil’s Day (Ayios Vasilis). This is the day children receive presents and it’s also New Year’s Day which you can celebrate in the sun!
