Paphos Beaches in Cyprus
Aphrodite beach is at Petra tou Romiou 25km east of Paphos Town. This is the mythical birthplace Aphrodite Greek Goddess of love and beauty and therefore a very popular place for weddings. These are usually followed by a romantic honeymoon in Cyprus.

Ayios Georgios Beach ~ Paphos District
A sandy and rocky beach with a lovely little harbor which is overlooked by a beautiful Byzantine church and one of the best fish restaurants in town.
Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire.

Pharos (Lighthouse) Beach
Easy to access as there’s a bus stop just outside the beach. There’s also a bar and you can hire sunbeds and umbrellas.

Coral Bay Beach ~ Paphos District
The lovely resort of Coral Bay is 10km outside of Paphos town and extremely popular with visitors to the island.
It’s a great place to visit and just a short bus drive away from Paphos.
The horseshoe bay has lovely white sand and shallow waters so excellent for all the family.

Lara Beach ~ Paphos District
A must to visit is Lara Bay (known as Lara Beach and Turtle Beach).
This is where the endangered loggerhead and green turtles lay their eggs.
The area is very beautiful with a very rugged landscape so it’s advisable to use a 4×4 vehicle.
Some of the most beautiful and secluded Paphos beaches such as Lara Bay are on the west-coast of Cyprus in Latchi and Polis on the edge of the Akamas Peninsula.
