Cyprus is such a small island that you'll have no problem seeing everything of interest during your vacation.
It's so small and if you hire a car you can drive the length of the island in one day.

Most people spend their Cyprus holidays at one of the popular beach resorts on the island but it's definitely worth driving or taking the bus
to Nicosia (Lefkosia in Greek) which is the capital of the island.
You'll discover many famous attractions, shops, restaurants and places of interest and if you like horse racing you'll be in for a treat.
Explore the cities and towns of this lovely island and you'll soon discover the real Cyprus that everyone loves.
Limassol is the second largest city and Larnaca is the third largest and conveniently located very close to Larnaca airport. Not far away are the resorts of Ayia Napa and Protaras which are famous for their lovely sandy beaches.
Once the capital of the island, Paphos is on the south-western coast of the island.
Not far away is the beautiful Akamas Pensinsula and the stunning Troodos Mountains which are famous for the Byzantine churches, Kykkos Monastery and
pretty wine producing villages which you can easily visit with one of the Cyprus tours.
Get to know the cities of this lovely island with one of the FREE guided tours which are organized by the Cyprus Tourist Organization.
They all last from between two to two and a half hours and include a half-hour break for refreshments.
Plan your holiday for the end of August beginning of September and you can enjoy the internationally famous Limassol Wine Festival.
